Suggest Treatment For Itching And Rashes Throughout Body

I have recently developed generalised itching and rash some times raised, spread many areas on the body. More itching on the limbs and back. Itching on face in the mornings and more itching in the lower body in the evenings and night (more on scrotal skin).
Little control with Allegra.
Age 57 yrs, male, average complex, no diabetes, no alcohol, no smoking.
Will you please advise?

Hello,

You are having itching all over the body in a generalized way. It is also affecting your private area. You are suggested to take non sedating antihistamines, one SOS when needed to get rid of the discomfort. Take care of your hygiene, do not share your toiletries with anyone. You can apply ointment / cream hydrocortisone on the affected area. You will get relief. Cold compression and oatmeal bath is equally effective.

You can opt for light therapy (phototherapy) after consultation with a dermatologist. Phototherapy involves exposing your skin to a specific type of light especially for people who can't take oral drugs. It is effective. Get your blood sugar level tested. Clean all your clothes, bed sheets and bedding. Get it washed in hot water. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Stay adequately hydrated.
