What happens if you are diabetic but never get it diagnosed ?

What happens if you're diabetic but never get it diagnosed or treated? Like if someone pees all the time, stays thirsty, has the round diabetic belly, but never goes to the doctor and feels fine except for a bit lethargic and low energy? Will you suddenly die or something?

Not like that. But the chances of other organs getting damaged are high along with weakness. The organs that can be affected are retina(eye), nerves, kidneys, heart and brain as well which will have a severe impact on life. Also diabetics will be more prone for infection which can even lead to amputations.

I get a headache every time I eat fruit . Could I be diabetic? This is a fairly new thing. I have struggled with headaches my whole life but never been able to figure out what they are connected to. A website made me think I could be hypoglycemic because I also struggle with depression, insomnia, and low energy. But all this could also be related to stress. How can I find out? Is there a blood test?

I have recently been diagnosed with unstable angina. I have previously had an MI, I am 42, with a family history of Heart Disease and Type 2 Diabetes. I am a poorly controlled type 2 Diabetic, overweight and a smoker until 2 weeks ago. I have been told that a bypass or further angioplasty is not an option for me. I take about 24 tablets a day. Could I have a realistic estimation of life expectancy, as I`m guessing its not too good ?

Often lately, I've been rather light-headed and drained of energy after eating lunch (when I mostly notice it) right about 1 - 2 hours after eating. I'm currently overweight and concerned about blood sugar levels, and diabetes but, that all checked out okay on my last fasting lab 3 months ago. What could be the cause??

We have consulted a doctor and she has prescribed Tab Duphaston (10 mg) twice daily. Could you advise us of its purpose and if it has any side effects in long-term. We would really appreciate your advice on this.
