What Does This Urine Test Result Indicate?

My husband had a urine test and the diagnosis are as follows: Urine for cytology: -Atypical papillary groups and single cells present, cannot exclude dysplasia/neoplasia. -Microphematuria. -Mild acute inflammation. Comment: The findings are suspicious for dysplasia or neoplasia. Additional studies are recommended such as repeat urine cytologies, urine for FISH study such as UroVysion, or is there is clinical suspicion for neoplasis, cystoscopy with biopsy.

Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your urine cytology report shows dysplasia and haematuria. It suggest suspicious for kidney cancer. You should go for repeat cytology or other testing to confirm or rule out kidney cancer. If you have renal mass yhen ultrasound guided fnac or biopsy csn be done.
Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
