What Does This Transvaginal Scan Report Mean?

hi I got my ultrasound tvs done. below given are the findings. -- uterus is anteverted and normal in size and shape with normal cervix measures 5.98x3.47 cm in size --myometrium is homogenous & endometrium is 7.6 mm in thickness --pouch of Douglas contains is empty -- Both ovaries show multiple follicles arranged at periphery consistant with PCOD Impression : B/L PCOD Can you please advice what does it means

I have gone through your query. Your ultrasound examination report gives the impression of Polycystic ovarian disease. Ovulation can be absent in such case and periods will be irregular in such case. Infertility and insulin resistance are the main problem as a result of this. You can also get various problems like increased acne or hairloss due to this. Metformin therapy or liraglutide injections are helpful to treat this. A consultation with a gynecologist is well appreciated.
