What Does This MRI Tests Indicate?

I had an injury at work. Have neck and shoulder pain. This is what MRI tests show:

C4-C5 mild degenetative spondylosis and small broad central disc protrusion without overt neural element impingement

C6-C7: Mild degenerative spondylosis.

C6-C7: Mild degenerative spondylosis and small broad central disk protrusion withut overt neural element impingement

Alignment: There is straightening of the normal cervical lordosis suspicious for muscle spasm.

Impression: Multilevel degenerative spondylosis

Small broad central disc protrusions C4-C5 and C6-C7

Straightening of normal cervical lordosis suspicious for muscle spasm

No evidence of disc herniation, central canal or foraminal stenosis

Also MRI of Right Shoulder shows:

Impression: Subacromial impingement with supraspinatus tendinosis

No evidence of tears involving rotator cuff or glenoid labrum

Will the pain ever go away. Will I heal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to Health care magic.
1.It would have been helpful for me to know your age, in future please mention your age.
2.It looks like age related or excessive usage of spine ( hard working individuals - physically with weight bearing), they are normal seen in most of the individuals if they get scanned
3.C4-5 disc protrusion means the disc which is suppose to be between the vertebral bodies has been moved posterior, but no effect on the nerves or chord - so nothing much to worry.
4.Even findings in your shoulder are degenerative changes - nothing significant.
5.In this case you need to approach to orthopaedic specialist / physiotherapy - as simple exercises will relieve your symptoms.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
