What Does This MRI Of The Lumbosacral Spine Mean?

Hello my friend is suffering with severe lower back pain..doctor suggested him to do a MRI of LUMBO-SACRAL SPINE and the report says that: "Degenerative disc disease" Thecal sac indentation and bilateral neural foraminal narrowing at L4-5 level due to posterior & posterolateral disc herniation with mild posterolateral osteophytosis & facet hypertrophy. Epidural fat indentation and bilateral neural foraminal narrowing at L5-S1 level due to posterior disc bulge with mild posterolateral osteophytosis & facet hypertrophy. Can you please explain and suggest a solution? Thanks
