What Does The X-ray Result Mean?

Hi im 33 yrs I want to know what is interpretation of my xray results. Apicolordotic view in correlation with chest PA study done july 03 2014 reveals fibronodular densities in both apices, probably Koch s in etiology of undetermined activity. Suggest clinical correlation and comparison with old films if available to establish stability. The rest of the study is remarkable.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Apico-lordotic view and chest X-ray (PA view) reveals fibronodular densities in both apical region.Lesions may be due to infective etiology.

You need further tests to confirm tuberculosis. You need routine hemogram, mantoux test.PCR can be done if needed.PCR will confirm tuberculosis.
Empirically full course of broad spectrum antibiotics should be prescribed first.
If findings are due to pneumonia then it will clear with antibiotics.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Hope I have answered your question.
Take Care
