What Does The Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Hi! I had my ultrasound report can you please explain the meaning? The uterus is anteverted and measures 5.1 x 6.6 x 5.2cm. with a smooth contour and homogenous echopattern. the cervix measures 3.1x3.6x3.0cm. and is closed with homogenous echoes. The endometrial stripe is isoechoic and intact. It measures 1.2cm. with an intact endometrial halo. There are no uterine masses seen.Both ovaries are lateral to the corpus. The right ovary measures 3.5x3.4x3.0cm. Within the said ovary are six small follicles measuring from 0.4cm to 0.8cm. in widest diameters.The left ovary measures 3.0x2.7x1.4cm. Within the said ovary are four small follicles measuring from 0.4 to 0.8cm. in widest diameters.Impression:Anteverted uterus with an intact heterogenous endometrium Consider presence of blood/blood clots.Consider complete abortion Normal both ovaries with small follicles identified No adnexal masses seen No cul de sac fluid

According to there report,uterus is normal in size and shape.
However,endometrium appears heterogeneous in echogenesity,it may be due to blood clots due to recently complete abortion..It should be correlated clinically.
Both ovaries appears normal with normal graffian follicles within it.
There is no adnexal mass in either side.
POD also apppears normal.
