What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Indicate?

*Uterus: average sized anteverted flexed uterus with intact endometrial plate (about 9mm thickness ) no focal lesions *the right ovary appears of avarage size with multiple small cysts peripherally located and central echogenic stroma. *the left ovary appears of avarage size with multiple small cysts peripherally located and central echogenic stroma. *no deceted a adenxal masses *no deceted palvic free fluid IMPRESSION: ploy cystic like ovaries, for clinical and lab corelation

Hi, I have gone through your question. The ultrasound report indicates that there the patient is having polycystic ovaries. It can be present in polycystic ovarian disease or can be a isolated finding.
In polycystic ovarian disease, there is hormonal disturbances in the body leading to irregular menstrual cycle, irregular or no ovulation, and difficulty in conception.
I would suggest the person with such a ultrasound report to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated( including blood sugar levels and hormonal profile) and then further management accordingly.
