General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Cervical changes usually respond very well to treatment.

The Pap smear results suggest that there have been malignant (cancerous) changes to the cervix. It is possible that if the changes if not spread significantly, that you would respond quite well to the treatment provided by your doctor.

It would be best to speak to your doctor to find his or her follow-up protocol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
