Hi, This is my CT report:"CT of Sinuses:No inflammation or mass is seen.Nasal cavity structures appear normal.Left sided septal deviation is seen.Sever polypoid mucosal thickening is seen at all paranasal sinuses. Both OMC are occluded."What is my problem.Thank you.
1.The CT report suggest there is a polypoid thickening in all sinuses. 2.Which are causing both osteomeatal complex are occluded. 3.In this case the treatment will be FESS - functional endoscopic sinus surgery. 4.To remove the polyps and occlusion at the same same time sample for the investigation to evaluate the cells involved. 5.Followed by a course of antibiotic therapy.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
