What Does The ESR Count Of 45 Suggest And Chest X-ray Showing Shadow On Right Side?
for the last 3 weeks am feeling not well .no hungrey feeling very tired and ningt time tem,,getting high ...checked my blood ..conformed thre is no tifoid ..but my ESR CONTING IS 45 am working abrod ....also dr took x ray ..and he said that ridgt side of the chest showing a shadow .he recomended ct scan ...pls help me wats the reason he prefered some medicine for 10 days ..am very diss appointed is any series problm ....pls help me dr ....thank u
Hello Thanks for your query. Your ESR is slightly raised that may be due to infections. You have a shadow on chest x-ray. You should have a sputum for acid fast bacilli (AFB) examination if not done yet. You may have pneumonia or tuberculosis as differential diagnosis and even after antibiotics of 10 days shadows and symptoms persist you should have a repeat sputum for AFB examination and treated accordingly.
