What Does Scan Report Mean?

there is evidence of bilateral tiny renal calcullii with mild fullness of P-C system on right side. urinary bladder is normal. uterus is bulky with heavy endometerial reaction. no free fluid or abnormal bowel loops seen.



please let me know the meaning of below Doctor.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Small stones are there in both kidneys. The stones in the right kidney might be causing light obstruction to flow of urine which is described as fullness of PC system. A bulky uterus may be taken as normal in the absence of gynecologic symptoms. You must drink large amounts of water to flush out the stones. There will be mild pain if the stones come out by themselves. A repeat ultrasound may be done in 3 - 6 months to see the status of kidneys and stones.
