What Does Pain In The Left Knee Indicate?

I work out 3 to 4 times a week and do my cardio on the elliptical for normally 20 minutes. I have pain in the left knee in the back of the knee. Looking for the best treatment. I where a tommy copper brace when I work out and wonder what brace I should look for. Hurts going up and down steps.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice

I can understand your concern. As per your history, you have pain during steps up and down, I think it may be due to ligament injury. I would suggest you to get a X-ray or MRI of knee joint after consultation. You can also take tablet Tylenol, Diclofenac gel, or ointment for pain. Kindly consult with orthopedician for detailed examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
