What Does My Ultrasound Result Indicate?

Hello good day, ive done an ultrasound because of severe dysmenorrhea for the last one year. Sometimes my period is heavy with clotted blood but lasted only for 3-5 days. Also sometimes I experienced painful ovulation mostly at the right pelvic region. My ultrasound result reveals I Have huge biloculated cyst in the pevic area 14 cm, which makes me worried. With reticular low level echoes. Ultrasound done four or five days after my painful ovulation. Can you help me what is this. Because my appt to my ob gyne is after two weeks, im so worried. Thank you and Godbless.

hello and welcome to HCM,
The biloculated cyst is probably responsible for pelvic pain.
The size of the cyst may also be responsible for thepain.
Symptomatic cysts need to be surgically removed.
You need to consult your gynecologist for best treatment option for your age and reproductive status.

Thanks and take care
