General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
As per the given result of your lipid profile, the LDL Cholesterol level (Normal: 85 - 130 mg/dL) is high. Had you been my patient I would have advised you certain life style modifications before starting the medication to lower the cholesterol level like:
1. Avoid smoking, alcohol, and fatty meals.
2. Take healthy balanced diet, increase the intake of fruits and vegetables.
3. Do regular exercise.
Kindly repeat the lipid profile along with fasting blood glucose after 3 months. If the lipid levels are found to be high, consult your treating doctor for further evaluation and treatment which may involve use of certain medications like Statins to lower the cholesterol level.
Hope this answers your query.
