What Does My MRI Of The Brain Report Result Mean?

I took an MRI of the brain on Thursday and the report states:

Small microvascular ischemic changes are appreciated within the left cerebral peduncle as well as in the basal ganglia. No vasogenic edema or evidence of acute process is seen. July 16, 2010 I contacted viral meningitis with a brutal brutal headache went to ER and was treated for a migraine and sent home. What does all this mean?

1.The findings in the MRI suggest small microvascular ischemic changes - which is seen as a age related changes.
2.Also seen in the systemic causes, white matter disease and chronic alcohol features.
3.No vaso-genic oedema seen means there is no infection / inflammatory process seen.
4.That can not be commented upon - as the treatment depends on the clinical findings, the treating doctor will be well knowing.
5.Present study says age related changes kind of report. Good luck.
