Thanks for contacting with your health concern

1. going by your case history and symptoms it seems to be a case of Urinary Tract Infection [either kidney/ureter/bladder] with 'strangury' [repeated urgency to urinate with a sense of incomplete emptying], so it will be wise to consult a Urologist for symptom wise approach as follows:

i. Urinalysis & Urine culture to identify the cause or bacteria causing the infection and if the reason is UTI he will prescribe appropriate antibiotic accordingly to resolve the infection and,
ii. renal imaging studies if structural abnormalities are suspected.

PS. Other medical conditions which can be excluded apart from Urinary tract simultaneously are [since unable to deduce your gender]: diabetes, prostate gland problem, interstitial cystitis till then

- drink plenty of water to dilute your urine and flush out bacteria [i.e. drink enough to prevent constipation and over concentration of urine] as constipation can worsen the symptoms of overactive bladder.

- avoid alcohol, caffeine, citrus juices, soft drinks, which can irritate the bladder and aggravate urgent need to urinate.

- apply a warm [not hot] heating pad on your abdomen to minimize bladder discomfort.
