What Does Clumps Of Leucocytes In Urine Report Suggest?

hi, i got my sons urine report which states as follows
Colour - pale yellow, appearance- hazy, specific gravity-1.015, reaction- acidic ph6.5, protein-trace, benedict reaction negative, blood- absent, acetone bodies-absent bile salts- absent, bile pigments-absent, urobilinogen-normal, epithelial cells-occasional, leucocytes-0-1/hpf with few in clumps, red blood cells absent, casts- absent, crystalls- absent, yeast cells-absent, other findings- nil..my son is 21months old... hope all is ok

Thanks for asking.
Looking at the urine analysis report of your son, my comments are as follows:
1. Normal leukocytes are 0-3/hpf and it is within normal limits

2. Leukocytes in clumps means they are all together (bundled like). The leukocyte count does not signify urinary tract infection.

3. However, if suspicious, you can ask for urine culture for confirmation.
4. All other urine reports are normal.
