Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Most of the times bilateral
nipple discharge is normal.
You have to worry only if you have any bloody discharge and unilateral nipple discharge.
Other than breast feeding, Nipples may secrete fluid when they are stimulated or squeezed, for example while making love.
One medical condition you have to rule out is
Galactorrhea.
But galactorrhea is a condition in which a woman's breast secretes milk or a milky nipple discharge even though she is not
breastfeeding.
Galactorrhea is not a disease and has many possible causes. These include:
1.
Pituitary gland tumors
2. Certain medications, including some hormones and psychotropic drugs
3. Some herbs, such as anise and fennel
3. Hypothyroidism
4. Illegal drugs, including marijuana.
Thus we have to rule out Pituitary tumor and Hypothyroidism.
You need investigations like
Prolactin level in blood and Thyroid hormone profile.
If prolactin is abnormal, then you need to do MRI to rule out pituitary tumour.
Depending on the cause, the treatment varies. For example. If you have hypothyroidism, supplement of exogenous thyroxine is enough.
Hope this helps.

Wishing you good health.
