What Does Bladder Is Well-distended On The Transabdominal Images Mean?

This is the result of the test for my wife. What does it mean?
On the transabdominal images the bladder is well-distended, providing a
good acoustic window. The uterus measures 8.9 x 5.7 x 4.5 cm.
Transvaginal scanning was performed to better with the adnexal
structures. The endometrial stripe measures 1.3 cm in thickness, within
the normal range for a premenopausal female.
The left ovary measures 2.8 x 2.6 x 1.6 cm. No complex cyst is seen.
The right ovary measures 5.1 x 3.1 x 2.8 cm. Within the right ovary,
there are 2 anechoic cysts/follicles. The larger measures 2.2 x 2.4 x
2.0 cm. The smaller measures 1.9 x 1.8 x 1.4 cm. A third measures 1.4
x 1.1 x 1.2 cm.
No pelvic free fluid is identified.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your wife's USG report is absolutely normal.
Well distended(completely filled )urinary bladder is necessary to visualize pelvic organs. It gives window through which we can see pelvic organs.Don't worry about the finding. This is a normal finding.

Uterus is normal in size and echo texture.
Endometrial thickness is also normal.
Both ovaries are also normal. There are few follicular cysts in right ovary and this is normal.
There is no fluid in POD.

Hope I have answered your question.
Take Care
