What Does A Dent In Shin And Calf During Pregnancy Indicate?

I have a small dent in my left shin and calf. I was wondering if it was a symptom of a severe cramp that occurred last night. I could not move my leg and i was in severe discomfort. I was wondering if this was also a possible side effect of my pregnancy. Pleas help... :) ?????

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Dents and dimples in the skin region can at rimes be normal or be related to the musculoskelatal system. Nothing related to pregnancy really, and as you recently had a muscle cramp, pull or spasm in the region, this can also explain the presentation. Work your muscle well enough, which is possible even in a seated or supine position. Consult your doctor for a physical examination if your presentation interferes with your quality of life.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
