Can Ectopic Pregnancy Create Increased Risk Of DVT?
I have just recovered from ectopic pregnancy, successfully treated with methotrexate 6.5 weeks ago. Now I have got blotchy blue bruising behind my left calf, and I have had some pain in the calf while walking around on call last night. Does my ectopic put me at increased risk of DVT? Could this be DVT?

The bruising of the left calf can be due to DVT or an increased tendency to bleed which can happen due to ethotrexate therapy. Further blood investigations are needed to find out.
