I Anirban Das am having a gall stone. USG report is as below-
USG report as on 7th Sept 2011-
1. CBD: Normal.
2. Gall bladder: Well distended, Calculus noted within the lumen measuring 10X7mm. Wall thickness is normal. No pericholecystic oedema.
Impression: Gall bladder calculus.”
I have no pain, constipation or digestive problem yet.
Could you please update me on the following query?
1. Can I get the expert opinion- whether it is required to operate on gall bladder on above condition or not? Or any alternative treatment on it?
2. If operation required then –
A. What is most advanced method to operate on it? And whether we have that facility in Kolkata.
Yes madam you do need a operation called cholecystectomy as the calculus can cause further problems and hinder your lifestyle.
The operation is called Laproscopic Cholecystectomy About the pricing i can give you a approximate idea , It can cost you around INR 25000 in a good hospital. Post-operative may be a day.
