It is a 2 year old injury. Broke tibia and fibula. I have three screw at the ankle and two at the top. The screw at the top on the inside of my tibia aches and is sore and painful to the touch i can feel the "stress" especially whenever I lift my foot behind me 90º . Other than removal what should I look into?

Hi,
The discomfort is unlikely to improve . I suggest you consult an orthopedic surgeon to consider the removal of the screw.
