What Do You Suggest For Soft Stool With Constipation?
Hello doctor, I am 29 years Male from last 2 to 3 weeks I was having soft stool but constipation from yesterday I got too much of Gas so I did my Stool test they found following things Yeast is present wbc and Pus cells 3 to 5 (Normal Range(1 to 3) Mucus present Also mentioned that some undigested food present. Rest all things are not seen
I also would like to mention that I am hypothyroid and 1 year back when I did endoscopy there was small Hitus Hernia
Your stool test result indicate yeast infection and some bacterial infection is also possible. Generally infection is the most common reason of mentioned by you symptoms. To have it completely clear, you should have stool culture test done (to determine which bacteria is causing your symptoms). However you may also try (without stool culture test) Rifaximine treatment along with probiotic intake. This should fix your problem. If not, than colonoscopy should be considered.
Hope this will help. Regards.
