Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of PET scan is as follows:
PET scan reveals presence of a tumor arising from neuroendocrine cells.
Carcinoid tumor is a tumor arising from neuroendocrine cells which secretes various hormones like somatostanin and chromogranin.
There is an increase in levels of chromogranin but somatostanin is not detected.
Thus the carcinoid tumor is not secreting somatostanin hormone.
You need to consult your physician for further management.
The treatment of carcinoid depends on the site and size of carcinoid tumor.

Thanks and take care
