Hallow Dear,
Pregnancy is supposed to be period of life without any bleeding. Any
bleeding during pregnancy should be taken as an alarming sign, particularly if it is brown bleeding since it denotes risk to baby's life.
However, you had just a couple of drops of blood on the vaginal opening. It is likely that this could have come from erosion on the
cervix (mouth of
uterus). During pregnancy, due to high levels of Oestrogen hormone, cervix does develop erosion. Though such erosion usually does not bleed, occasional spotting cannot be excluded.
However, I feel, better to err on safer side. Please get
ultrasonography done to assess the wellbeing of the baby and placenta.
If baby and placenta are undisturbed, you may start
progesterone preparation preventively to safeguard and stabilize the pregnancy, with the advice of an Obstetrician. This will take care not to increase the bleeding.
Please report this incidence to your Obstetrician.
I hope this helps you.
