What Do Painful Lymph Nodes Under The Arm Down To The Arm Pit Indicate?

I Have axillary lymph nodes, I think. It starts from the middle under my arm down to the arm pit. It started as 1 now 7 in a 3 week period. at first there was no pain, now in the last 24 hours my arm is starting to hurt when I reach up. As I press on the bumps they are beginning to hurt, not all of them though. No fever, no weight loss but I'm finding I am very tired. I went to the doctor, he did blood work also for anti immune? He also mentioned a possible ultra sound of the arm and maybe an appt. with a rhemotoligist. (sorry about the spelling). What could this be. I normally do not get too concerned but I am at this point. I don't know if this matters but I was diagnosed with early stage emphezima about a year ago. Help

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern you have to wait for some time because this is could be solitary inflammation of single lymph node this is some time happens without any apparent reason and subsides on its own, if this does not regress then need to be treated as inflammatory Lymph nod with anti inflammatory drugs with taking some investigative work in hand, single lymph nod nothing to worry about it, hope this information helps you have nice day.
