Question: Name-Mrs. XXXXXXX XXXX, age-46 yrs, Height-4'10", weight-65 kg, Dr sir, My wife has been suffering a mild pain in upper left breast just near left armpit for 1 months. USG report is given below.....
All the four quadrants of left breast including the nipple, axillary tail & sub-areolar region are well examined both in longitudinal and transverse planes by high frequency linear probe.
1. Skin outline is intact, 2. Nipple, sub areolar region is normal,3. No ductal dilatation seen in both breasts,4. No calcification seen,5.Sub-cutaneous fascial planes are well-maintained,6.Slight change in
echotexture & increased echogenicity of the fibro-glandular elements are noted in upper lateral quadrant of left breast extending to axilla.7. Mild probe tenderness is noted over the respective site., 8.Retro mammary fascial plane shows normal sonological findings, 9. No axillary lymphadenopathy noted,9. Axillary vessel is normal.
Impression: MILD FIBRO-ADENOSIS IN LEFT BREAST... needs follow-up
Dr. prescribed her " Primosa 1000 mg" for 3 months.
but she feels mild pain ocassionally even after having Primosa 1000 mg for one & half month.

I have gone through your query,there is nothing to worry,it will take time to treat fibroadenoma.She can take mild pain killer as paracetamole for pain and do hot fomentation.Or surgically remove the adenoma.
