Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Echo says grade 2 diastolic dysfunction, stress test revealed a small, fixed, perfusion abnormality of the left inferior lateral wall of the left ventricle , but ecg is normal. Ejection fraction is estimated at 60% physician had nurse to tell me to return in one year. Any idea what a diagnosis would be as my doc didn t even call with one.
Based on the history you have shared, it is almost a normal Echocardiogram however small area where blood isn't reaching, maybe due to dye not detecting or small vessel blockage but is very trivial and doesn't have significant implications. 60 per cent ejection fraction is quite normal and will not cause significant systolic or diastolic dysfunction. Wishing you a healthy life ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
