Hi there, This could indicate that you have a blood clot somewhere in your deeper system, which could be causing an outflow obstruction. In simple terms, the blood traffic is backing up because the exit on the freeway is closed! I d recommend an ultrasound of your upper extremities. I wouldn t be worried or lose sleep over this, but blood clots should be treated. An ultrasound is a quick and non-invasive tests.
