What diet plan to follow to gain weight?

Hii Doctor , I am 27 yrs old,female.My height is 5.3,weight is 37Kgs,I am married in 2006 June.I want to gain my weight very badly,I am working.Before marriage i was 37Kgs,I have not put on my weight.Please suggest me how to gain weight.I eat normally for breakfast ,Lunch,dinner.For lunch & dinner i eat rice.If morning dosa i eat 2 1/2 ,cant eat more that that.,If idly 4,I drink,coffee,How do i gain weight.Please help me.Waiting for your reply.

Dear,thanks for query.I think you are having this weight since long.If not done please get your thyroid test done.If normal then it is possible that your body frame is light.Take diet rich in protein,like pulses etc.Take plenty of milk products,fruits and vegetables.Do regular exercise.Plan your diet properly.If needed take help of a dietitian.bye and take care.

Have a snack before you go to bed at night. have more proteins like egg,chicken. if u r vegeterian then take soya and milk.Add butter, margarine, , salad ,ghee,cream cheese, oil, gravy, sour cream,whipping cream and cream sauces to food.Add sugar, honey or jam to your drinks and foods.take almonds,dates.do some weight bearing exercises.avoid stress and take proper sleep

Hi, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
You should be eating healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and Green Leafy Veggies. Avoid Junk and Drink Plenty of Water. Eat Protein rich foods like Milk, Eggs, Chicken, Fish twice a week this will improve your Muscle mass. Exercise regularly like cardio, crunches, skipping. This will not only increase your External Appearance but also your Appetite helping you eat more., thence gaining weight.
Avoid stress and sleep adequately. Follow this routine for a Month, you should see better changes.
