What Could The Red And Soft Lump At The Back Of Scalp Of An Infant Be?

Hi! My baby suddenly developed a soft lump at the back part of her scalp. It's reddish in color that looks like a mosquito bite but about half inch diameter. 1st came out this morning and then about 6 hours after another lump came out again about 2 inches from the first. What could this be? Thanks.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. It could as be an insect bite allergy or a staring of urticarial rash or skin allergy. As of now you can use calamine lotion as its giving results along with oral antiallergic like Hydroxyziine or Cetrizine. But is suggest you see your paediatrician. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
