What Could Minimal Effusion On Hip In MRI Report Suggest?

Hi,mri just revealed that i have minimal effusion on my right hip, but it is nonspecific. What does that mean and what treatment would it involve. I fell of a latter 8 feet in air more than a year ago and both hips and my lower back is bothering non stop. I have burning up and down both legs and in my buttocks. Earlier mri of back after accident said i had deep fuscia bruising.

welcome to Health care magic.

The present MRI study reveals presence of minimal fluid in the joint space - This condition can be seen in the presence of infection / inflammation in and around the joint.

If the symptoms are persisting for long time - suggest back exercises and physiotherapy would help.

If you have acute symptoms with the hip joint - a course of antibiotic with pain killer will help. Good luck.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
