What Could Lower Back Pain After Splenectomy Indicate?
My wife had a spleenectomy operation several months ago due to an auto accident. Ever since then she complains of lower back pains that wrap from her left side to her abdomen? she can walk and do most things but si slow to get out of a car and a chair? We have had several Cat scans done with doctors saying she is ok its just pain from the accident? but I am worried
The pain will go away gradually. As you have already mentioned that tests are okay. Its just the soft tissue bruising which is causing pain. So apply Voltral Emulgel topically three times a day at the site of pain. She may also take Diclofenac sodium 50mg twice daily for 5 days if she is experiencing severe pain. But most likely, it will go away with the passage of time.
