What Could Headaches, Nausea And Sinus Pressure After An Head Injury Indicate?
Hit on right top of head, no loss of consciousness, or headache at time, just felt like It was a hard hit. Next day headache in front and sides of head, some nausea but seemed to be from headache. Thought it might be allergies because pressure felt in sinuses
Hello, I have been through your question and understand your concern.
As you might know, it is very important that you did not had any loss of consciousness after the trauma, nor memory impairment. Headache is common a few days after the head trauma, but it should not increase in intensity. Nausea as well should not persist longer, while the sinus pressure is not clear what do you mean with that.
Basically, there is no indication in your symptoms to perform a CT scan. So I would not worry. But in the next couple of days if the headache persist or increases in intensity and the nausea does not pass away, then you should have a cranial CT.
Hope this helps. Please feel free for further questions
