What Could Dilation Of Kidney Pelvis In Ultrasound Suggest?

I just had an ultrasound which showed moderate degree of dilatation of right kidney pelvis, there was no obstruction or lesion . While my doctor asked me not be concerned , I was wondering shud I be concerned . All my blood reports were normal I terms of any kidney disease. I am concerned about tumor or any other things

dilatation of renal pelvis can indicate 2 things..1. obstruction 2. normal variation which can be seen in certain individuals. to proceed further, it would be better if we have a CT urogram and diuretic IVP/renogram. i would suggest to have a CT urogram first
