What Could Cause Recurring Pain In Lower Back Radiating To Thighs While Walking?

for several years now I have developed pain starting in my lower back & then radiating down the front of my thighs,when walking for some time. Recently the pain has become quite acute down mainly my left thigh so much so that by the evening I find it very difficult to stand. It is relieved for a short time by sitting down but then, on standing it after a while comes back again.....please help.l

The prob lem is probably in lumbosacral spine.. There is compression on spinal chord affecting nerve route. Mri lubosacralspine tobe taken and with result consult neuro and ortho surgeon.
