What Could Cause Menstrual Irregularity?

I am 31 years old, tubes tied since I was 22 years old. I had my period end the 14th and started again on the 22. Everytime I eat I feel menstrual cramps. After a while they will go away. What could be causing this? I am scared of a tubal pregnancy since I have my tubes tied.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

Chances if tubal pregnancy though rare, but can occur in this condition. I would suggest you to have a course of oral contraceptive pills for 3 months and also I would suggest you to do a ultrasound examination of lower abdomen and a thyroid profile test.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
