General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it is an arthritis. However We have to rule out serious condition like meningitis also. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. In persistent cases a spinal tap might be required to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
