What Could Cause Bruised Eye Corner?

Hi, I woke up this morning with the skin of corner of my eye and onto my nose looking badly bruised, I ve just got over a bad bout of flu and for the past week my sinus area has not been comfortable, feeling heavy and puffy. A while back I had my sinus scanned but all seemed normal. I am 45 and have never bruised easily and certainly for no reason. I ve had my nose broken 3 times and never even had black eyes then. Any ideas please? Thankyou

It appears to be dacrocystitis retrograde infection to punctum and corner of eyes. You have not mentioned about both eye or one eye. You should take systemic antibiotic like ezythroccin 500mg daily for 3days. combiflam twice daily for 5daysafter food. It will improve.
