What Could Cause Bleeding (including Mouth) Post Delivery Subsequently Coma And Death?

Doc, my sister went into coma after giving birth at about 5:00am. And she continued bleeding heavily that blood latter began to flow from her mouth... Yet the doctors couldnt stop the bleeding. & after many hours, she gave up by 10:00pm. Please what possibly would have been the cause?

Hi..I am very sorry..in your sisters case it seems that after delivery heavy bleeding occurred which led to DIC that is disseminated intra vascular coagulopathy in which blood fails to clot on itself that led to bleeding from various sites of body including mouth..that might be the reason..
