What Could Cause A Red, Raised, And Warmer Rash On Skin?

Hello. For about a week now I ve had a rash on my forearm, at first i thought I d been bitten but it seems to have grown in size (a little smaller than a dime in diameter)and only itches if I happen to itch it first. It s red, raised, and warmer than my skin. I ve notice two other spots that are similar on my stomach and breast. I have guttate psoriasis and this is not that. Not sure if I should see the doctor or try to wait it out. Thank you very much.

Hi,

It may be lichen urticatus. It may be due to hypersensitivity to insects. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply calamine lotion on the lesions. Take antihistaminic like Cetirizine 10 mg Daily.

Hope this helps.
