What Could Cause A Pulsating Feeling Under The Left Rib?

have a pulsating feeling under my left rib cage? I/ve recently started a high protein diet, which avoids carbohydrates and sweets and bread...only oat bran is allowed - Dukan diet....could that be the reason? I/ve been on the diet for 5 days now...thank you!

I can understand your situation and problem.
Pulsating feeling in left chest can be due to either cardiac cause or anxiety.
Change of diet can not cause such symptoms.
So better to get done ecg and 2d echo to rule out cardiac cause.
If both are normal then no need to worry for heart disease.
Stress and anxiety can cause similar symptoms.
So consult psychiatrist and get done counseling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution. You may need anxiolytic drugs too. So avoid stress and tension. Be relax and calm. Don't worry, you will be alright.
