What Could Cause Crohn's Disease?

Hi, when I was 4years old I was diagnosed with Mono which is caused by Epstein-Barr virus. When I turned 13 I was diagnosed with Crohn's. I just wanted to know if there's a connection between Epstein-Barr virus and Crohn's.
Could Epstein-Barr virus still be active in my body?
