What Could Be The Small, Red Spots On Sole Of Foot At 31st Week Of Pregnancy?

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant, although I m not sure it related. I have very small red spots on the sole of one foot. It s been causing me pain to walk. They are becoming increasingly irritating and a little itchy. The pain has been there for about a week. Can you help?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

The red tender spot on sole may be small soft tissue infection. It is a bacterial infection. Do not worry, take bed rest. Take antibiotics like azithromycine which is safe in pregnancy. Nimesulide may reduce the pain. You consult dermatologist and gynaecologist for perfect diagnosis and treatment. You may be alright.

Thanks.
