What Could Be The Reason For Stuffy, Runny Nose, Dry Cough, Hot And Cold Flashes, Breathlessness, Voice Loss?

My boyfriend has been sick for the past two weeks and keeps getting worse. He has a stuffy runny nose, a really really bad cough but isn't coughinf up anything, he'll get cold sweats and one minute he'll be burning up and the next he'll be freezing, and he all of a sudden couldn't breathe for a minute like he was suffocating or something, and has a sore throat, and keeps losing his voice. What can he do to help get better without having to go to the doctor?

hello. well.. i would really recommend that you meet your doctor as soon as you can. it is likely that your friend is having a sinus infection which is trickling down into his throat. he will need antibiotics and it is better you meet a doctor. thanks
