What Could Be The Reason For Having Pain On My Shoulder Area, Nausea, Indigestion And Cold Sweats?

Last night I had terrible pain in my left shoulder area front and back, nausea which makes me want to vomit, indigestion which was severe and now comes and goes this morning. The pain has moved to the middle of my chest and between my shoulder blades and am having cold sweats. I am going to book an apt to see my dr today. My left arm has had bad pain which has come and gone over the last couple of weeks also, I am a 36 year old female and feel like I am having a heart attack but don't want to go to the doctor and sound silly

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The nausea and indigestion that you are having is not likely to be related to the shoulder pain that you are having. A tendonitis or frozen shoulder or trauma to the area is a likely cause of the pain.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
