What Could Be The Pain At The Back Of The Head While Chewing?

when I chew,I get a pain in the back of my head,it started a few weeks ago but it is getting worse and now even when I m not chewing I can still feel a dull pain in that same spot,would this have to do with the jaw or something I should get checked out,

it is most common in a dental pain due to an infected tooth or impacted tooth infection(pericoronitis). consult a dentist.he might suggest you a root canal treatment or extraction.
